SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely, to tools used in finishing works, to guide-bar design, in particular, intended to align the mortar on the surface. The set of new guide-bar elements in its form and interaction allows creating an integral, easy, firm, light, convenient, versatile, multi-functional product. Thus, efficiency and convenience of labour increase. The guide-bar has working surface and stiffening bar, wherein the working surface is designed in cross-section with rounded-convex arrangement and stiffening bar on it. This rib also serves as a reference for the guide-bar angle inclination, element for easy holding. It also locks and distributes the weight of the material being aligned. Due to rounded convex shape, the angle of inclination of the working surface of the guide-bar to the surface being aligned is not uniform and varies upwards the (opening), which ensures better control over the volume of material spread, as well as better control over the process. In addition, the reverse side is designed as working one with possibility of other functional solutions. Thanks to this arrangement and interaction of the basic elements the high rigidity of the guide-bar is preserved. Besides, such design is achieved within a single open channel without internal cavities, ensuring handling convenience of the versatile guide-bar.

EFFECT: invention allows making the process of materials alignment and guide-bar handling simpler and easier under rigid control over the process and quality of work.
