FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: stud has a stud body (1) with a symmetry axis (K) and includes a stud pin (2) parallel to the symmetry axis. Stud body includes an upper flange (3) and a bottom flange (5). The upper surface of the upper flange (3) is designed for placing in the tire tread zone when installing the stud in the studded tire mounting hole, the stud pin (2) is formed in the stud body (1) in such a manner that one end (4) of the stud pin (2) stands proud from the upper surface of the upper flange (3). The bottom flange (5), bottom surface of which is intended for placing the stud body (1) in the bottom zone of the tire tread mounting hole on the bottom flange (5) edge on the opposite sides with respect to the symmetry axis (K). On the edge of the upper flange (3) the holding surfaces (7) are made coaxially with the holding surfaces (6) on the bottom flange (5) edge on the body (1) symmetry axis (K). The holding surfaces (7, 6) of the upper flange (3) and the bottom flange (5) are curved.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance characteristics and studs adhesion with the road surface at high studs fixing reliability in the tire tread.
