SUBSTANCE: studded tire (101) comprises a tread (102) in which a stud (103) is installed. The protector (102) has a predetermined direction R of rotation. The protector (102) includes blocks (105). Each of the blocks (105) includes an angular portion (106) protruding forward in the rotation direction R. The spike (103) is installed in at least one of the blocks (105). The spike (103) includes a main part embedded in the block (105) and a pin (120) protruding from the main part (110) in the radial direction of the tire. The main body has an upper flange (111) formed thereon, and the upper flange (111) includes a tapering portion (111A) in plane projection. The spike (103) is installed in the block (105) so that the tapered part (111A) and the corner part (106) are oriented in the same direction.
