SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Measuring system is disclosed for remote measurement of optical focus of remote optical image forming system, wherein remote optical image forming system comprises objective and sensitive surface. Wherein measuring system comprises: light projective device for projection of light test pattern in optical spectra so, that test pattern is in focus in known focal plane in front of objective of remote optical image forming system; camera with optical axis between light projective device and known focal plane is partially aligned with optical axis light projective device for recording image of reflection of light test pattern on sensitive surface of remote optical image forming system, and image processing unit for determining sharpness of recorded light test picture reflected on sensitive surface for measurement of focal distance of remote optical image forming system. Method of remote measurement of optical focus remote optical image forming system comprises following steps: light test pattern is projected in optical spectra in focus in known focal plane in front of objective of remote optical image forming system, image of reflection of light test pattern on sensitive surface of remote optical image forming system is recorded and sharpness of recorded light test pattern is analyzed. Machine-readable carrier of measurement system for remote measurement of optical focus of remote optical image forming system comprises computer program saved on it for implementation of this method.
