SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a distribution roller for offset printing containing a core of the roller, which is internally heated or cooled and has roughness Rz from 0.1 to 100 mcm, and a layer of a hardened coating based on a polyimide or a polyamideimide prepolymer in the amount of ≥50 % as per the coating weight, wherein the said layer has a thickness from 1 to 1,000 mcm and a modulus of elasticity within the range from 0.5 to 500 MPa.
