FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method of turning plastic blanks, the blank and the cutting tool are imparted the motion of forming and the feeding is carried out discretely. The blank is preprocessed by twisting it with a bandage formed of two straps, connected with tie rods to the tangential stress up to 0.6÷0.8 of the blank material stress limit.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of and quality of blank processing and physical and mechanical properties of goods (pieces of work).
