FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: blank and cutting tool are provided with relative movement ensuring shaping, and feed is performed by steps. The caprolon blank is subjected to preliminary treatment by the ball. The caprolon blank is cut to cutting depth considering value of elastic recovery of the ball deformed surface layer of the caprolon.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of dimensions and shape of the treated surface.
