FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to agricultural instrument engineering. In implementation of the method, in the tractor motion without load by reducing the fuel supply, the crankshaft speed is achieved, corresponding to maximum torque. The fuel supply is instantly increased to the maximum. When the rated crankshaft speed of the engine is achieved during acceleration of the tractor, the angular acceleration of the crankshaft is measured with a device of IMD type. The crankshaft acceleration at the tractor acceleration with an additional (reference) weight is similarly measured, as well as at the tractor acceleration with an agricultural machine. Using formulas derived from the equations of the tractor motion without load and with an additional (reference) weight, the reduced weight of the tractor is determined. Using the formulas derived from the equations of the tractor motion without load and with an agricultural machine, the resistance power of the working machine is determined.
EFFECT: invention enables to simplify the measurement and to reduce complexity.
