FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to determination of technical condition by means of measurement of parameters that reflect pressure in cylinders of piston internal combustion engines (ICE) under operating conditions. The proposed method and the expert system for determination of technical condition of the engine and its components may be used both to investigate the working process of the internal combustion engine and for expertise of ICE and its components technical condition during preliminary training of the expert system. The method and the expert system make it possible to efficiently and accurately get the objective expert conclusion about the technical condition of the engine and its components. Use of the tuned model in the method and the device makes it possible to increase accuracy of methods for identification of engine, centrifugal speed regulator, fuel pump and turbocompressor condition in comparison with usual measurement and analysis of characteristics and more credibly detect areas of faults and overrun of parameters of the specified components beyond the nominal values. The expert system makes it possible by development of data and knowledge bases of unlimited volume to use accumulated intellectual potential of developers, researches, diagnosticians, operators for objective expertise of ICE and its components.
EFFECT: simplification and considerable reduction of labour intensiveness of expertise of engine technical condition.
