FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing catalysts for alkylation of iso-butane with iso-butene. Claimed a method for producing zeolite-based catalyst of NaNH4Y type with Na2O residue below 0.8 wt %, comprising treatment of zeolite crystals with aqueous solution of lanthanum nitrate, under stirring, until lanthanum concentration in zeolite is 3.0 wt %; mixing with the second suspension, resulted from aluminium hydroxide powder (pseudoboehmite) peptisation with HNO3 aqueous solution to achieve pH 1-3, moulding material granulation, curing at a room temperature for 18-24 h., drying with a temperature rise of 2 deg/min., and exposure to a temperature of 110±10°C for at least 5 h., roasting with a temperature rise of 10 deg/min., exposure to 280±10°C for at least 4 h. and to 510±10°C for at least 4 h.; the size of zeolite and aluminium hydroxide beads is below 20 mcm; a zirconium sulphate solution and aluminium metasilicate with bead size below 20 mcm are added to the second suspension, the moulding material with a density of 1.25±0.05 g/cm3 is granulated in a hydrocarbon fluid to produce spherical beads, followed by coagulation in ammonia solution of 17±0.5 wt %, containing 5.5±0.2 wt.% of ammonium paramolybdate or paratungstate, at the following mass ratio of components in the moulding material, %: zeolite of NaNH4Y type - (9.2-10.7), lanthanum nitrate (0.67-0.77), aluminium hydroxide (pseudoboehmite) - (11.3-12.4), zirconium sulphate - (9.0-12.8), aluminium metasilicate - (0.73-1.0), nitric acid - (0.36-0.4), water - up to 100. Also claimed a catalyst, comprising zeolite of NaLaHY type with sodium oxide residue of 0.8 wt % and modified with 3.0 wt % lanthanum; aluminium oxide, sulphated tetragonal zirconium oxide, containing either aluminium metasilicate and molybdenum oxide, or tungsten oxide, wherein the mass ratio of the components is as follows, %: zeolite of NaLaHY type - (49-55), aluminium oxide - (30-33), sulphated zirconium oxide - (14-21), aluminium metasilicate - (3-4), molybdenum oxide, or tungsten oxide - (6-8).

EFFECT: developed method for producing a catalyst and a high mechanical strength spherical catalyst for alkylation of iso-butane with iso-butene, under vigorous mixing/ stirring conditions, with a high iso-butane conversion rate and selectivity towards trimethylpentanes, high trimethylpentane yield, wherein the reaction is carried out isothermally in an autoclave.
