SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling and development of hydrocarbon wells, namely to a pipe element threaded joint. Assembly for making a threaded joint comprises the first and the second pipe elements with a rotation axis, each being provided with a male and a female ends, respectively. At least one of the male and the female ends terminates in an end surface with the first thrust surface able to enter in a compressing contact, when the connection is in the screwed-together state, with the second thrust surface provided on the bearing wall made on the other end. Herewith at least one of the first and the second thrust surfaces cross a slot, thus forming a zone of external thrust and a zone of internal thrust. Herewith in the screwed-together state the zones of external and internal thrusts are not in the same plane, as the result of which contact pressure Pint(a) in the zone of internal thrust near the slot is greater than or equal to the minimum value of contact pressure Pext(min) in the zone of external thrust.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of the risk of leakage from the pipes inner part into the outer one.
