SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, particularly to medical models. Method of assessing the duration of static physical work by experimental rats consists in placing the rat in a laboratory box with transparent walls and a current-conducting floor connected to a power supply and covered by a cover on top. Experimental rat is placed on a horizontally located rectangular platform with a floor in the form of a net. At the first stage, the platform is turned by 180° so that the experimental rat is turned upside down, and it is trained to hold onto the mesh floor of the platform with its back downwards. At the second stage, the experimental rat is placed on the platform, the platform is turned through 180° and placing the experimental rat in a position with its back downwards. Duration of the static physical work is estimated by the time interval from the moment of turning the platform with the experimental rat on it from the horizontal position through 180° until the experimental rat falls on the conductive floor. Disclosed is a device for implementing the method.

EFFECT: evaluation of duration of static physical work performance by experimental rats.
