FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of thin-film thermally-conductive coatings with high hardness using the cathodic electrodeposition method. The composition comprises, weight parts: polymer electrolyte - toluene diisocyanate modified epoxyamine adduct with a molecular weight of 1700-2500 amu and 36-38% of solids - 100; acetic acid (100%) - 0.4-0.5; copper acetate (100%) - 2.2-3.3; water - the rest up to 1 liter. The method involves electrodeposition of polymer electrolyte together with copper electrolytic reduction on the cathode from the said composition in the direct current mode under the following conditions: U=140-200 V; duration of application is 100-160 seconds; pH=4.3-5.6; temperature is 25-32°C.
EFFECT: increased hardness, thermal conductivity, and impact resistance of the coating.
