FIELD: medicine, diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for differential diagnostics of invasive ductal cancer and mammary gland fibroadenoma. For this purpose concentration of monocyte chemoattractant protein MCP-1 in supernatant of sample of patient's blood cells, incubated with carcvinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and without CEA, is determined, after which index of impact (II) of carcinoembryonic antigen (II CEA) on MCP-1 production by blood cells by formula: II CEA=A/B, where A is level of MCP-1 production under CEA impact, B is level of spontaneous MCP-1 production without CEA, and if II CEA does not exceed 1.79, invasive ductal cancer is diagnosed, and if II CEA value is equal or higher than 1.80, fibroadenoma is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to identify character of tumour in due time and start adequate treatment with its high sensitivity.
