FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to household chemicals, namely, to air fresheners, and it is designed to eliminate unpleasant odors in automotive passenger compartments and storage areas. Air freshener comprises a core defining a proximal end, a distal end having a length between the proximal and distal ends and a central axis along the length of the said core of the air freshener. The central axis is bent along at least a part of it. It includes a aromatized polymeric tube contacting with at least a part of the core and comprising of at least one polymer having one or more aromatic substances. The proximal end finishes with the end surface. The distal end may finish with the second end surface. The end and second end surfaces are placed substantially facing next to each other, where the air freshener surrounds the axis located perpendicular to the central axis. Air freshener manufacturing methods and its application are provided.

EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides a portable air freshener, which can be quickly installed and removed from the receiving structure.
