SUBSTANCE: reagent for quantitative spectrophotometric determination of ferrocene in petrol contains an oxidizer, water, a catalyst represented by the hydrochloric acid, and a polar organic solvent with the dielectric permeability from 20 to 35 at 25°C, at the following components ratio, by wt %: an oxidizer 0.016÷2.297; hydrochloric acid 0.1⋅10-5÷0.2⋅10-3; water 0.096÷1.264; a polar organic solvent - the rest.

EFFECT: increasing the rapidity and improving the reliability of determination of ferrocene in petrol.
