SUBSTANCE: digital image particular points are emitted in the process, the descriptor of each particular point of the first and the second digital images is calculated using the wavelet transformation, the neighborhood of the digital image particular point is formed from the digital image pixels, the wavelet transformation of the digital image particular point neighborhood is performed, the descriptor is formed in the vector form of the basic coefficient values of the digital image wavelet transformation, the Euclidean distance is calculated between the descriptor vectors of the particular points of the first and the second digital images, the particular point descriptors of the first and the second digital images are compared, the only corresponding particular point of the second digital image is found for each particular point of the first digital image, and the only corresponding particular point of the first digital image is found for each particular point of the second digital image; if the particular point A of the first digital image is pre-mapped to the particular point B of the second digital image, so that this particular point B of the second digital image is pre-mapped to the particular point A of the first digital image, then the particular point A of the first digital image is considered corresponding to the particular point B of the second digital image, and the particular point B of the second digital image is considered corresponding to the particular point A of the first digital image.
EFFECT: reducing time of finding the correcsponding particular points of the two images by reducing the descriptor dimension of the particular point of the digital image.
