FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method, binary digital imaging is performed by the segregation of special points of digital image wavelet-transformation, for which purpose digital image wavelet-decomposition is performed on several levels of detail, each pixel is treated as a possible special point of the digital image, while calculating the weight based on wavelet coefficients of the digital image wavelet-transformation, then a binary digital image is generated while marking pixels in this image which pixels by their location correspond to the obtained special points of the digital image wavelet-transformation, the weight of which points exceeds the specified weight threshold.
EFFECT: faster object search in an image by using calculation of wavelet-transformation special points.
