FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: projection points for lateral and medial ankle tops are obtained on a plantogram. The examined person stands on the plantography canvas. Further, the "laser level" device is used with two beams forming intersecting mutually perpendicular lines, the laser level is set so that the horizontal laser level beam line is parallel to the plantography plane and the center of used level horizontal and vertical lines intersection passes through the top of the lateral or medial ankle. A point formed by the vertical line of the laser level beam is marked on the plantogram. Then, two projection points of the lateral and medial ankle tops for one foot are connected on the plantogram to provide line M (inter-ankle line). The most projecting points on the inside and the outside of the forefoot - points A and B corresponding to the heads of the 1st and the 5th metatarsal bones are found on the footprint. They are interconnected. A tangent line is plotted through point B on the outer side of the print and the most protruding heel point - point C. A perpendicular is restored from point C is reduced to straight line BC to obtain line CE a line corresponding to the median heel axis. Line CE is divided in halves, point F is obtained. Segment AB is divided in halves, point G is obtained. Points F and G are connected to obtain a conditional median foot axis. The point of line M intersection with the median conditional axis FG - point M. A line is plotted through point M perpendicular to the median foot axis, line P is obtained. A sharp angle formed by the intersection of line M and line P lines corresponds to the angle of rotation.
EFFECT: method allows to easy and accurately determine the geometric parameters of the foot using plantography and a laser level device.
