FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: flap turning angle limiter with the left cover and a reference hole in the right cover relates to bolts and other locking devices for flaps to lock them in the half-open position by means of movable elements arranged on the frame and flap and coupled and uncoupled to provide for further opening only in case the flap is closed. The flap turning angle limiter contains a hinged plate with a slot and a hook mounted on the end of the bolt to move longitudinally, pass through the plate slot and turn. The handle is rigidly mounted on the bolt, and the bolt is placed in the guiding housing, in which a twisting slot is made, consisting of a transverse bore and longitudinal bores connected with its ends, located in opposite directions from the transverse bore and allowing the bolt handle to move along themselves. There is a longitudinal protrusion on the plate side facing the bolt. A rack ratchet mechanism is mounted on the plate and consists of a rack gear with gear recesses in one of the slot longitudinal edges and with a pawl equipped with a release handle arranged for squeezing out of the toothed recess and travelling inside the slot between the two covers which are located on the both sides of the plate and overlap with the slot longitudinal edges and are rigidly linked to each other for travelling together with the pawl along the slot. Herewith the right cover has a reference hole for the hook to pass through it after it passed through the plate slot and then turned to hook with the right cover and the plate. One of the covers has an auxiliary hole which the release handle comes through. The pawl can be spring-loaded towards the rack gear or made springy.
