FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device for flap turning angle limiting with a reference hole in the left cover and with the right cover relates to bolts and other locking devices for flaps, mostly for doors and windows in buildings, and, in particular, to devices for limiting the opening angle of doors and flaps and their locking in the open position with the help of moveable elements located on the frame and flap and coupled or uncoupled to allow for further opening only in case the flap is closed. The device comprises of a hook and a hinged plate with a slot which has a flared edge and faces the hinge joint. Wherein the hook is designed movable for longitudinal travelling, passing through the flared slot edge all along its length when the flap is opened. A rack ratchet mechanism is made on the plate and consists of a rack gear with toothed recesses in one of the longitudinal slot edges and a pawl equipped with a release handle, located for squeezing out of the toothed recess and travelling inside the slot between the left and right covers which are placed on both sides of the plate overlapping with both longitudinal slot edges and linked for simultaneous travelling with each other and the pawl along the slot. Herein the left cover has an auxiliary slot through which the release handle comes out and a reference hole for the hook to pass through and then through the flared slot edge. The pawl can be spring-loaded towards the rack gear or made springy of a resilient material.
