FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to detection and quantitative analysis of hydrogen. Device (100) for monitoring structure (1) comprises first optical fibre (10), optical system (20), optically connected to first measuring optical fibre (10) and suitable for measurement of at least one parameter of first optical fibre. Optical system (20) is suitable for measuring parameter of first optical fibre (10) along first measuring optical fibre (10) in accordance with principle of measuring Brillouin scattering. Method of monitoring structure includes steps of: installing a first measuring optical fibre in structure, measuring a parameter along measuring optical fibre according to principle of measuring Brillouin scattering, detecting and/or performing quantitative analysis of hydrogen in measuring optical fibre (10). Method of detecting and/or quantitative analysis of hydrogen, using device (100).
EFFECT: more effective detection and quantitative analysis of hydrogen.
