SUBSTANCE: according to method for stability control of a continuous welded rail by measuring the frequency of its own horizontal transverse vibrations, the ratio of the frequency of its own horizontal transverse vibrations at the current time to the pre-known vibration frequency of the same rail area, the longitudinal force being equal to zero, is taken as the stability criterion.
EFFECT: possibility to accurately assess the risk of track buckling, which improves the train traffic safety.
