FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: arterial atrioventricular valve prosthetics is performed for patients with corrected transposition of the great vessels (GVCT) at right heart formation and arrangement. Median sternotomy is performed, the left atrium is dissected to the left of the ascending aorta for 5-6 cm, starting from the base of the tab and the cut is continued to the area located in front of the left inferior pulmonary vein. Arterial atrioventricular valve flaps are excised. A mechanical prosthesis is implanted, and the left atrium integrity is restored.

EFFECT: method allows prevention of intra- and postoperative complications, deaths due to the reduced duration of surgery, cardiopulmonary bypass and aortic cross-clamping time, elimination of expressed heart walls traction by optimizing the access to the arterial atrioventricular valve during prosthesis installation for patients with GVCT at right heart formation and arrangement.
