SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the metal industry, particularly, to the casting technology, and may be used in the technology of high-precision casting according to consumable models. The solution for wetting of the surface of wax models for high-precision casting including ethanol and water, additionally containing sodium hydroxide at the following component ratio, mas %: ethanol - 20, sodium hydroxide - 10-20, water - the rest, is described.

EFFECT: solution for wetting of the surface of wax models reducing the toxicity of cleaning solution vapors and fire hazard, as well as improving wetting of the surface of wax models for high-precision casting.
