FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and can be used with a surgical, torque-transmitting instrument. Chip-cutting tool comprises distal engagement segment or distal tool head, to which a tool shaft is connected, the proximal end section thereof being designed to be inserted into a tool receiving section of the instrument in order to transmit torque. For this, the proximal end section is divided into at least one functional "torque-transmission" section and one functional "axial locking" section which is arranged at an axial distance from the other functional section. Functional "axial locking" section comprises parameters, which are variable with respect to the geometry thereof, which interact, according to the key-key hole principle, only with a tool receiving section with corresponding geometric counter parameters for a correct tool receiving section.
EFFECT: invention can be used with a surgical torque-transmitting instrument.
