FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: subject puts on the lenses that are to be assessed. A visual object-stimulus of various configurations is provided in various fields of vision. The evoked activity is recorded and the evoked visual potential of primary and secondary visual cortex is highlighted. A lens is assessed according to the measurements of the evoked visual field, amplitude and latency of the evoked visual potential and its components.
EFFECT: invention improves the accuracy of diagnosis, which is achieved through provision and evaluation of the evoked primary and secondary visual cortex activity.
