GLASSES-LENS ASSESSMENT METHOD, GLASSES-LENS DESIGN METHOD USING ASSESSMENT METHOD AND CALCULATION METHOD FOR VISUAL-PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF TEST SUBJECT WHEN VIEWING OBJECTS THROUGH LENS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B3/10

Abstract RU 2675939 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. This assessment method for glasses-lens assessment comprises the steps of: having a test subject wear a lens to be assessed; allowing the visual cortex of the subject’s brain to induce periodic brain activity with a period to be analyzed by allowing the subject to look through the lens at an object-visual stimulus, which varies with a predetermined period and is configured to induce periodic brain activity with a period to be analyzed; subject’s brain activity is obtained in the form of an electrical signal waveform; one or more of the amplitude, power and phase values at a frequency, which is the reciprocal of the brain activity period, is calculated by analyzing said vibration mode; the visual perception of the subject when looking through the lens to be assessed is assessed, based on the magnitude of the amplitude or power values obtained above, or on the basis of the slowness/speed of the phase obtained above. Design method for designing glasses lenses based on the assessment result calculated in accordance with the assessment method for assessment the glasses lenses. Said calculation method for calculating the characteristic of the subject’s visual perception, when the subject looks at the object through the lenses, contains the steps of: having a test subject wear a lens to be assessed; allowing the visual cortex of the subject’s brain to induce periodic brain activity by allowing the subject to look through the lens on an object-visual stimulus, which varies with a certain period and is made with the ability to induce periodic brain activity with the period to be analyzed; subject’s brain activity is obtained in the form of an electrical signal waveform; one or more of the amplitude, power and phase values at a frequency, which is the inverse of the brain activity period, is calculated by analyzing the waveform; and calculating the characteristic of the visual perception of the subject when viewing the object through the said lens based on the magnitude of the amplitude or power values obtained above, or on the basis of the phase slowness/speed obtained above.

EFFECT: use of present group of inventions widens the range of equipment.
