SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of designing a pair of spectacle lenses, each of which corresponds to one eye of a user. Method of designing pair of spectacle lenses includes steps of determining observation distance and placing object at said distance; putting standard holder on user; for each eye: leaving it open and covering the other eye; placing, before an eye, a screen with a through hole; displacing the position of the hole until the user sees said object when viewed through the hole so that said object is located at the centre in an accessible field of view; opening both eyes; adjusting the positions of holes to provide binocular vision; and designing each lens in accordance with said position.

EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of determining position of optical centres of lenses when designing eye lenses.
