FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: liquid food products, such as water, wine, beer, juice, milk, are treated by removing oxidiants therefrom by means of saturation by hydrogen with the excess relative to oxygen of more than 1.2 times while bubbling. The product saturated with hydrogen is passed through the filter with a palladium catalyst. To ensure the binding of oxidants, the product passed through the filter with a palladium catalyst is brought into contact with the palladium catalyst placed in the container for the product storage.
EFFECT: increasing the shelf life due to deoxygenation, reducing the redox potential of the liquid product after treatment to negative values.
