FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: propranolol is administered orally at the initial dosage of 1 mg/kg/day. Three hemangioma sclerosing operations with 70% ethanol and 2% lidocaine in a ratio of 2:1 are performed additionally once every 3 days. Xclerosing course is repeated 1 time per month to the stage of hemangioma regress, which is recorded according to the results of anthropometry, visual evaluation, and hemangioma ultrasounding results.
EFFECT: reduced mean number of treatment sessions required for hemangioma regress, at reduced complications, simple and minimally invasive treatment.
