FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to capacitive devices, intended for various heat and mass exchange processes of chemical technology, in which creation of homogeneous concentration and temperature field is required in the entire volume of the mixed medium at rational power consumption. Double-row propeller mixer comprises two rows of inclined blades, fixed on separate concentric shafts with independent rotation drives. Blades of both mixer rows are made of rectangular plates and inclined in one direction, blades of upper and lower mixer rows are fitted to revolve in opposite directions. Rectangular in cross-section confusers adjacent to each other, opened on their outer side are fixed under the blades of the upper mixer row and above the blades of the lower mixer row, height of lateral sides of the confusers does not exceed the height of inclined blades corresponding row, input expanding holes of the confusers are turned towards the side of the mixer blades rotation, mixer blades of upper and lower rows are arranged with clearance, preventing blades interference, at the ends of blades and perpendicular to them there are flat ribs in the form of rectangular trapezoid, with larger trapezoid base size equal to two heights of inclined blades, and with trapezoid height equal to blade width.
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of mixing and dispersion of liquid materials.
