FIELD: apparatuses for agitating and suspending materials in liquids.

SUBSTANCE: agitator includes cylindrical body with deflection strip plates mounted on its inner surface. To upper surface of disc rotor converging tubes are secured; their large cross sections are turned to side of rotor rotation direction. Disc rotor has peripheral shoulder whose height is equal to large diameter of converging tubes.

EFFECT: possibility for realizing effective agitation of suspensions at simultaneous dispersing solid particles of material contained in liquid.
