FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the feed industry, in particular the production of a feed additive for agricultural and unproductive animals. The method for processing crab production waste to obtain a feed additive comprises grinding, processing and packaging of the finished product. Ground raw material with the particle size of not more than 1.10 mm is subjected to processing, which is mixed with fresh water in equal proportions and heated to the temperature of 30-70°C. Thereinafter proteinase is introduced in an amount of 0.01-1.5% by weight of the mixture, and the enzymatic hydrolysis is conducted during 15-60 min. The obtained fermented waste is heated to the temperature of 97-98°C and maintained for 15-20 minutes. The whole process is conducted with constant stirring. At the end the semifinished product is cooled to 80±2°C and homogenized at 1500-30000 rev / min for 20-120 seconds. The resulting feed additive is batched and packed.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the duration of the process of obtaining the final product, reduce the energy consumption, the net cost, and allows the efficient use of the waste in the catch and processing of raw crab at onshore facilities, as well as in conditions of fishing in the sea in ships.
