FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to preparation of a polymer modifier and bitumen-polymer binder based thereon, used in road and civil construction for arrangement of road asphalt coatings, sealing of road paintings joints, arrangement of roofing and waterproofing of building structures. The modifier comprises an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, polyethylene polyamine with a total nitrogen content of 29-31 wt %, alpha-olefins fraction of C20-C26 composition as a solvent and plasticiser, and a filler - fine powder of variable valency metal oxide with particle size of 0.25 to 1.5 microns with the following ratio of components, wt %: ethylene vinyl acetate copolimer - 60-80, polyethylene polyamine - 10-30, C20-C26 alpha-olefins fraction - 5-8, filler - 2-5. The binder contains 70-98 wt % of bitumen, and 2-30 wt % of modifier.
EFFECT: binder provides high adhesion to the mineral part of the composite material while maintaining or improving other performance characteristics.
