FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: cationic polymer-asphalt emulsion contains polymer-asphalt binder based on road petroleum asphalt BND 90/130, modified by a styrene-butadiene-styrene polymer and plasticised by industrial oil I40A, a cationic emulsifying agent, hydrochloric acid, calcium chloride and water. The cationic emulsifying agent used is based on a H-alkyl "fat" propylene polyamine derivative. Components in the polymer-asphalt binder are in the following ratio in wt %: asphalt -72.5-85.5; styrene-butadiene-styrene polymer - 2.5-3.5; oil I40A - 12-24. Components in the cationic polymer-asphalt emulsion are in the following ratio in wt %: polymer-asphalt binder - 50-65; cationic emulsifying agent - 0.42-0.6; hydrochloric acid - 0.18-0.25; calcium chloride - 0.08-0.14; water - the balance.
EFFECT: high frost resistance of organomineral mixtures, high softening temperature, high elasticity, reduced expenses on repair and maintenance of roads owing to longer service life thereof, reduced consumption of emulsifying agent and hydrochloric acid, reduced cost of producing the emulsion, reduced harmful effect of hydrochloric acid on the environment and humans.
