FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: prior to operation, bladder catheterization is performed, intra-abdominal pressure is measured. After herniotomy, abdominal rectus muscles are covered by endoprostheses on the front and back surface with one-sided adhesion based on polypropylene and collagen. Implants are fixed with U-shaped sutures along the outer and inner edges of the rectus muscles. A prosthesis dublication is formed in the hernia defect center by means of two continuous sutures. Abdominal pressure is measured intraoperatively, and prostheses dublication edges are abducted or brought together till the reference value of intraabdominal pressure. Then the dublication is fixed.
EFFECT: method prevents compartment syndrome and recurrent hernias.
