METHOD FOR NON-STRETCH PLASTICITY OF RECURRENT VENTRAL HERNIAS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/00 A61F2/00 A61L17/04

Abstract RU 2739679 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, herniology. At the distance of not less than 3 cm from the peritoneal suture line under the muscles in the form of a loop the first frame thread from the synthetic non-absorbable material with the thickness of "0" is placed. Ends of the first frame thread are removed in one of the corners of the wound, a mesh endoprosthesis is placed on top of it so that it in longitudinal and transverse directions covers the hernia defect by 0.5 cm. On both sides of the hernial gate in the projection of the loop of the first carcass thread, U-shaped seams so that carcass filament is located in U-shaped suture loop between its suture and mesh endoprosthesis. Sutures of U-shaped sutures at a distance of not less than 1.5 cm from each other are sutured muscles of anterior abdominal wall, which after suture is lowered to contact with mesh endoprosthesis. On top of the muscles, a second carcass thread is laid from synthetic non-absorbable material with thickness "0" so that its loop is located between unconnected U-shaped sutures. Ends of the second carcass thread are brought out to the same angle of the wound as the first frame thread. U-shaped sutures are tied, pulling the first and second frame threads alternately, after the endoprosthesis is completely fixed, the ends of both carcass threads are tied.

EFFECT: method enables reliable prevention of hernia formation, reliable fixation of mesh endoprosthesis; allows closing the hernia defect in the absence of strong fascial and connective tissue structures usually used for hernia repair.
