FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: adjustable insert rail fastening, adjusting the pressure of the rail clip to the rail foot situated on the reinforced concrete tie bars, consists of a tie plate having shaped holes aligned with the bores in the tie, and of a base plate which has flanges and bores aligned with the holes in the tie and on which the rail clip sits. One of its sections is located on the rail foot and the other one is placed under the eccentric above the cylindrical ends of which there are curved parts of paired U-shaped bolts introduced into the base plate, tie and tie plate holes. The nuts with adapters are screwed on the ends of the bolts and, when the eccentric pivots and the rail clip is pressed to the base plate and the rail foot, they shift upwards. The nut adapters nuts are recessed in the shaped holes of the tie plate and their wide part thrusts against the tie plate locking the basic elements of the rail fastening in this position, but keeping the possibility of increasing the pressure on the rail clip by rotating the eccentric.
EFFECT: stable gauge and reliable operation of the rail fastening elements in the range exceeding the established turnaround cycle.
