SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-rail vehicles. Braking device of a vehicle wheel comprises a support disc that carries brake shoes, interacting with a braking drum and controlled by a working cylinder. In the support disc there is a pair of rods of arc-shaped form with boxed cross section, where brake shoes are installed movably with the similar cross section, controlled by elastic shells fed by braking fluid from the hydraulic braking system of the vehicle.
EFFECT: invention provides for even wear of brake shoe pads used for vehicle braking.
