FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle wheel braking mechanism consists of a support disc spring-loaded with stretching relative to each other brake pads installed hingedly on it, and hydraulic control hydraulic cylinder last hydraulic system. On one of the blocks in its upper part a spring-loaded relatively to the last flat spring is hinged, a rod movable in the vertical plane of the support disk, equipped on its other end with a fork with a tooth, interacting with mating teeth arranged on curvilinear section of ledge made integral with other brake shoe, wherein said rod is made of resilient material.
EFFECT: provision of constant gap between external surfaces of braking pad linings and circumferential surface of brake drum, which will improve reliability of brake mechanisms of car wheels.
