FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: tool is made in the form of two cutting units, between which the vibration damper is located. Cutting modules perform parallel processing of different surfaces of a single workpiece. Lower module with its upper end forms an axial clearance with the end cap of vibration damper, whose value is determined according to the above formula. The radial clearance between the housing of cutting unit bottom and treated surface is made smaller than the thickness and width of shear layer material; thus, it eliminates clogging of the tool by shavings during workpiece processing. Shaving grooves of the tool are formed as the curved cavities, which discharge shavings from the cutting blades of upper and lower modules in opposite directions.

EFFECT: tool with increased surface processing performance and the expansion of technological capabilities.
