FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: pump system includes a submersible linear motor, oil pump, sealing device and pressure balancing assembly which are installed underground. Submersible linear motor comprises a stator and a drive mechanism. It is able to reciprocate inside the stator. The oil pump comprises a cylinder, a piston, an outer sleeve and a sieving pipe for oil supply. A sealing device is installed between the linear motor and submersible pump oil. Pressure balancing assembly is mounted on the lower end of the submersible linear motor. It is adapted to balance the pressure inside and outside the submersible linear motor. The pump system does not include a sucker rod as in the existing pump systems for oil production, what helps prevent stroke loss due to the length of the sucker rod, and the energy loss caused by the weight of the sucker rod and the abrasion of the rod with a pipe elbow. As a result a higher system efficiency is ensured.

EFFECT: creation of a pump system with a submersible linear motor having a high efficiency.
