FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: brake includes the housing having the chamber with th windows on the lateral surface and the central window. The disc-shaped pressure chamber is arranged on the muzzle brake housing at the muzzle barrel end; four symmetric windows on each side are arranged behind it in the side surface. The pressure chamber is equipped with conical through openings whose axes are inclined to the bore axis at an angle of 45°. The symmetric windows are provided with front walls, the internal working surfaces of which have an arcuate cross-sectional shape. Each successive front wall has a smaller radius than the previous one, and their height decreases in proportion to the front wall of the housing at an angle of 30°. The first window opposite the front wall has a flared inclined projection forming two chambers - the accelerating-injection one and the nozzle one.
EFFECT: reducing the shock load on the crew, increased rigidity of the muzzle brake structure, increasing the braking force rollback.
