SUBSTANCE: method includes the stages at which it is detected if there is any change of the displayed content in the display unit, the display is controlled to update the display data corresponding to the first and second parts of several display units when the display units are set in m rows of pixels divided in rows or to alternately update the data of the third and fourth parts of the display unit columns when the display units are set in n columns of pixels, separated by columns, when there is no change of the displayed content detected, where m and n are positive integers. Thus, the problem of screen flicker caused by a decreased rate of the display unit update, can be solved, while the display content is maintained unchanged and, thus, the effects related to possible decreasing of number of pixels intended for updates, can be reduced by the display unit every time, while the initial rate of updates is maintained and, thus, the screen flicker may be prevented and the energy consumption may be reduced.

EFFECT: increased control accuracy.
