SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquid crystal display means. Method comprises obtaining the liquid crystal display panel gray content value of pixels of each of the display lines. Set the refresh rate of the i-th line in the displayed content to the first refresh rate, if the gray scale values of all the pixels in the i-th line are lower, than the set value; setting the refresh rate of the j-th row in the displayed content to the second refresh rate, if at least one gray scale value of pixels in the j-th line is not lower than the set value in which i≠j, and the first refresh rate is lower than the second refresh rate.
EFFECT: technical result is to reduce the power consumption of the liquid crystal panel.
