FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: enamel coating powder contains 100 parts of glass powder; when required, 10-22 parts of coarse glass granules greater than the powder size; 0.1-7.5 parts of ceramic fibres, glass fibres, or carbon fibres; and 10-21 parts of light metal oxide powder, and/or 1-5 parts of heavy metal powder (either alternatively or in combination with one another). Enamel slip is applied to the metal structural member.
EFFECT: higher enamel resistance to mechanical and heat stress.
