FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for environmentally friendly diesel fuel (EFDT) production by mixing of the original diesel fuel with a supplement - product of vegetable oil transesterification by normal butyl alcohol in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid, characterized by camelina oil butyl ether application as the supplement, the amount of which together with the hydrotreated diesel fuel is 10 wt %. Weight ratio for compounding is as follows: 90-99 of hydrotreated diesel fuel; 1-10 of supplement (camelina oil butyl esthers).
EFFECT: obtaining of pure diesel fuel for internal combustion engines with improved lubricity and low total sulfur content.
