FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: multi-channel digital signal recorder refers to the information-measuring engineering and can be used for collecting and processing signals, mostly acoustic signals of the multi-element receiving antennas consisting of the reversible converters and/or the vibrational speed receivers using the multi-channel systems of collecting and recording hydroacoustic data. The recorder includes a microcontroller unit equipped with a highly-stable clock frequency generator, a receiving path consisting of a series-connected unit of the multi-channel switches, matching amplifiers and the analog-to-digital converter, as well as a self-test module that includes a series-connected analog-to-digital converter of the microcontroller unit forming a filter, a power amplifier, a current consumption sensor connected with the ADC of the microcontroller via the matching amplifier, and a multi-channel analog switch connected to the switch unit of the receiving path and the microcontroller.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of recording the input data by testing the entire receiving recorder path, including primary converters, with calculating such parameters of the receiving path as a through transmitting ratio of the receiving path and the analog- and phase-frequency characteristics of the receiving path.
