FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater machine building, namely to methods of measuring residual buoyancy of an underwater vehicle. Measurement of the value of the residual buoyancy of an underwater vehicle includes the use of the mode of automatic stabilization of depth without stroke, vertical screw and tachometer. Vertical screw RPM value is used to calculate the value of vertical screw thrust. Value of residual buoyancy equals vertical screw thrust and is directed in the opposite direction.
EFFECT: efficient measurement of value of residual buoyancy of underwater vehicle.
